Hey Guys! For a long time I was contemplating whether we should fully paint our guest bedroom one neutral colour, or fully paint it and have one accent wall or then combine paint and wallpaper and use the wallpaper as an accent wall. After lots of research and pinning through a gazillion images, I think I’ve decided on wallpapering!
Up until a few years ago, wallpapers were considered old fashioned or tacky but they have made a huge comeback in modern day home decor and rightly so! Wallpapers have extensive uses- they come in a large variety of designs, colours and materials and more importantly, there are so many temporary and budget friendly wallpapers that almost anyone can use it to enhance their living space
When used correctly wallpapers can transform your home from bog standard builder-grade to luxe interiors. It not only provides a big pattern that creates impact but also makes the rest of the room easier to design by creating a focal point and tying in a design, colour or motif that leads to the rest of the room.
Below, I have listed my favourite wallpaper ideas for different areas of the house and hopefully it will give you the inspiration to ditch the paint cans and try wallpapering for a more trendy home.
