Hey All! So, I know it’s been a while since I last blogged but that’s because I have been pretty busy trying to settle into California life and our new home. I am also miserable with this damp, foggy weather (I swear I left the UK thinking I would never have to deal with rain again-how wrong I was!) However, I am seriously hoping this is the last of the dull weather and we get some sunshine soon.

Spring is a time of change, of bloom and of letting go the winter darkness. Adding simple pops of colours through pillows, rugs, cutlery, sweet smelling candles and flowers can truly enhance any space! When looking through luxury interiors or home decor magazines I often find myself getting annoyed at the way their couches or bedroom are decorated with throw pillows. Let’s be real, the couch is to sit on and the bed to sleep on and not to be used as a display for all colours, shapes and sizes of throw pillows! However, when used creatively and practically throw pillows are the easiest and the most budget friendly option to add seasonal decor to any home. I would advice on choosing throw pillow cases instead of throw pillows since storage is so much easier and you can re-use the inserts each time. Below, I have listed my favourite stores for affordable, beautiful spring themed pillow cases.

PS: Tip 1- With so different designs to choose from, it can get tricky to select the perfect throw pillow for your home. The best way is to decide on a colour scheme based on the colour of your sofa, bedroom or living room and then narrow down your options accordingly.
